What we do

The Heritage Hundred Society (HHS) was formed in January 2014 as successor to the Stapleford Hundred Society, which was founded by Barbara Keene and Christopher Payne and operated from Stapleford Park for some ten years.

HHS is a not-for-profit organisation which arranges a number of lectures each year, covering a wide range of subjects such as fine and decorative arts, music and literature, architecture and gardens, heritage and history, current affairs, etc. HHS as the name implies, aims to keep membership to a manageable & sociable level for the enjoyment of its members.

These talks are given at The Old White Hart in Lyddington, Rutland, on the second Wednesday in each of the months of March, April & May and September, October & November.

Members and guests arrive for coffee or tea from 10.30am for the 11.00am lectures, with lunch to follow for members and guests who so choose.

HHS also organises a Christmas Lunch for members and guests at The Old White Hart, with a shorter, informal, talk at the end of the meal.
